Last year was extremely challenging and I promised myself to make the most of every minute of this year. To appreciate and value my health and body. Well we are halfway through the year and I’m only truly doing that now. Better late than never, right?! For the last month I have immersed myself fully into a regular yoga schedule and have forced myself to move more. Walk around the block when my mind is stuffy, try to jog, go on a hike and so forth. I will admit I was and still am incredibly unfit. One month isn’t going to make up for 9 years of zero exercise! I discovered the Life Retreat Studio in Somerset West, which I have mentioned before and plenty of times on my Social Media. The reason being, is that this studio has truly changed my life. I’m feeling so much happier and love pushing my body a little bit harder each and every time. Yoga is also incredible for the mind and I’ve gotten my motivation back.
I stay in a lovely safe complex and every morning before I head off to the studio I will do a quick jog around the perimeter. I’ll then attend a yoga class and sometimes pilates or Nia and then walk around the beautiful Lourensford estate before heading home. It’s been freezing and difficult at times to get myself up and out of bed so early but it has all been oh so worth it.
Also I really need advice and suggestions on the best workout clothing? Especially workout bras. I found this one at Cotton On and love it but haven’t been able to find another with a good fit for a D-Cup.
