Just before Christmas, I was gifted a beautifully wrapped package from Avon with festive goodies and their Avon Care Even Tone + range. The range is all under R100 and is aimed at a price-conscious market. This reflects in the packaging. Which is not necessarily a bad thing, because it doesn’t intimidate those with a tight budget but it also shows that Avon isn’t wasting money by creating fancy packaging but instead is focused on creating a good product formula.
The Avon Even Tone + Multi-purpose cream is said to be suitable for the face, but I would recommend that, hands and body. However, for the body it is AMAZING. So super moisturising. I’ve also been using it every even on my feet and it has left them silky. The Cleanser foams up quite quickly so use sparingly, again great for affordability. The Facial Day Cream with SPF 15 is a nourishing, fairly rich cream.
Then these two I picked up last year at Avon’s Pop-Up store and were such superb finds. I’ve been meaning to feature them since then. The Mark Magix Prep and Set Spray contains vitamin A, C and E. It’s not sticky at all. The incredibly lightweight formula impressed me and yes the setting of makeup is effective. I also love the odourless scent, because, and please tell me that I’m not the only one but often as I’m spraying my fixing spray the scent makes me sneeze and then I smudge my mascara!
So finally, the little black “beauty blender”. Wow, at R80 for a copy of a famous sponge yet half the size. Could it be worth it? YES!!! It’s absolutely perfect for applying concealer to the under eye area and then I always get creases along the side of nose where a big sponge or brush never quite blends in quite as well. Well, this little beaut does the job.
