MAC to me is a staple beauty brand. Everyone knows it and everyone has their favourites which they re-purchase on a regular basis. All too often when I am reviewing new products I overlook the ones I use every day and dismiss reviewing them as they aren’t new to me but then I realised while they may not be exciting to me, they may just be the item others are looking for or looking into purchasing. So from now on I will be reviewing a couple of my favourite products from my regular go-to brands.

First up MAC….

MAC Fix+ I don’t use this product every single day but for events and launches it is great. It really does set ones make-up but doesn’t make it feel like a mask and the witch hazel which has astringent properties means it won’t clog pores.

I tend to go through make-up phases, for a while I will only wear lipstick and then the following month I don’t want anything heavier than lip ice on my lips. Currently I have fallen back in love with lipglosses. I was standing in the MAC store and this pretty little pink gloss caught my eye. MAC CremeSheen Just Superb is a peachy pink and works with numerous make-up looks. It lasts quite a while and I have been wearing it practically every day the last few weeks (minus the windy days that is!).

No MAC list would be complete without their eyeshadows…these are my fabulous four.

Top Right- Naked Lunch Frost
Bottom Right- Girlie

The above image is after one application, they are evenly pigmented but aren’t too heavy which always works for me as I prefer to build on layers. Even though they appear quite shimmery in real life they aren’t so. They contain just enough shimmer to wake up tired eyes and are subtle enough to wear at the office.
