Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Review

Everything Beauty, Reviews By Jan 23, 2014

The other day a fellow beauty blogger mentioned on Twitter that she had picked up the Marc Anthony Oil of Morocco Argan Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. I had been eyeing it for a while but the last few weeks was unable to source it at any of my local Dis-Chem or Pick n Pay stores and thus mentioned this. The fabulous PR team over at Freebees spotted my tweet and promptly sent the duo over for me to test out. They really are an excellent on-the-ball beauty PR company. I was delighted and tested it out immediately.

The packaging is an intense blue similar to other Argan oil products on the market and clearly states on the front that it is sulfate free. For all my readers that have had a Brazilian Blow-out this means that these products are safe to use and at R99.99 each they are a bargain compared to the other Sulfate free shampoos out there.

The shampoo has a wonderful salon fresh scent to it that is delicately light. The formula errs on the side of gel-like consistency and even though it is packed with oils it didn’t weigh down my hair. The keratin, grape seed oil and Argan oil provide a powerful trio to help restore strength, protect from damage and revive shine. The shampoo does not froth a lot but one normal pump of the tube is sufficient to thoroughly cleanse ones hair.

The conditioner is slightly creamier and glides on with ease. It is ultra-hydrating and helps to protect against damage and colour fade. I also liked that it helped to lessen my front frizzy parts. After blow drying my hair felt stronger and was surprisingly voluminous for using oil packed products. Well priced at R99.99 each this will certainly be a repurchase.
