Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Cleansing Face Oil (R495) is a luxurious oil that dissolves all impurities and makeup while nourishing your skin with essential lipids, including Omega 3, 6 and 9 and Vitamin E.
As an oily skin type I have finally gotten over the fact that it is okay to use facial oils on ones skin. In fact it can even help if you have dry skin that’s trying to overcompensate by producing too much sebum but the thought of actually cleansing with an oil was a challenging one.
It feels incredibly luxurious to apply and I loved how makeup was thoroughly removed with no harsh drying effect after. It also works excellently at removing waterproof mascara which is always a total pain.
Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Replenishing Cleansing Oil fuses the emollient, antioxidant and conditioning properties of Apricot, Safflower and Olive Oils to dissolve cosmetic debris and sebum, while repairing the skin’s barrier layer. When massaged into the skin it effectively cleanses the skin without leaving it feeling dry or tight.
Suitable for all skin types including sensitive skin, Ceramide Replenishing Cleansing Oil doesn’t leave behind an oily residue or clog pores, resulting in a fresh, healthy looking complexion that is never dry or greasy. In fact I really think my skin has felt more balanced since washing morning and evening with this.
At R495 for 200ml it is pretty pricey for a cleanser but some evenings I felt I could skip the night cream and just use a serum as my skin still felt so nourished after cleansing. Also a little goes a long way, I’ve used this for two weeks and it barely looks like it.
