Very Estee Fragrance Review

November 8, 2012 in Events, Online Shopping
Last week I was treated to some delightful pampering at the Suntra Spa at 15 on Orange Hotel courtesy of Estee Lauder.
My mani and pedi is still perfectly chip free and there are so many gorgeous colours in their new Vivid Colour Nail Lacquer range. I will post a review on those soon.
One of the items in my goodie bag was the latest Estee Lauder fragrance Very Estee. It is so stunning, a fresh and sophisticated fragrance. I have been wearing it every single day since and fall more and more in love with its light, fresh floral scent.
The new fragrance VeryEstee is described as a modern celebration of the Lauder woman’s spectacular affinity for distinct style and luxury.Very Estee is elegant and sophisticated moving in a floral musky theme. The opening is very elegant with notes of lotus, freesia, cassis and pink pepper, while the feminine heart takes over with Bulgarian rose oil, Rose Petal NaturePrint, Gardenia Brazil NaturePrint and jasmine. The dry down is a very elegant and sophisticated blend of sandalwood, cedar, cashmere and musk.

Available in 30ml and 50ml from Edgars and Stuttafords.

Lots of fragrancy posts 🙂 I’m always intrigued to smell new perfumes but I always go back to the same one I’ve used for years! x

This past week I’ve been in hospital. I went in This past week I’ve been in hospital. I went in for an emergency op three weeks ago and then there were complications. Which is why I’ve been so quiet.

Aside, from all of the pain I’ve been going through. I’ve also been stressing about all of the work commitments I’ve missed.

I haven’t put makeup on or even thought about beauty in weeks. I am however so relieved that I chucked these mini’s into my hospital bag. I was able to put this hair mask, from @sorbetgroup, on last night and properly wash my hair. The divine scent helped make me feel slightly more human again. Plus my hair is extremely soft! Although the #Sorbet Dry Shampoo has been superb, it’s all done now though.

It’s amazing how appreciative one is simply by being able to do small things by oneself like wash your own hair or shower by yourself. Okay, a nurse still had to keep check on me but one stiletto at a time...

Looking “back” on the past year. It’s surrea Looking “back” on the past year. It’s surreal to even process how we have all changed. Adapted.

I was enjoying the simple pleasure of breathing in fresh air, feeling the warmth of the sun and knowing that through all the hardships I have and am still growing. I do finally feel the excitement that comes with a new year. It may not be the 1st of January but it is the first day of an entire year of South Africa working together to help one another, thrive and survive, and that is inspiring and motivating.

Richard and I took it super easy. I got to sleep in, was spoilt with coffee and later an untypical “picnic” and decided to have a little toast with some non-alcoholic @robertsonwinery sparkling wine 🥂. Last weekend I was in ER (Not COVID-19) but still better not to mix meds and alcohol just yet 😊

We then decided to do our own versions of relaxation. Him non-stop sport and for me pampering with face masks and watching YouTube beauty gurus 💕
