At the end of last year Schwarzkopf added another fabulous product to their range, the revolutionary Color Mask. A hair dye that is also a hair mask. This is such a simple concept that it is quite surprising other brands have never done so before especially since it completely transforms the way one thinks about at-home hair dye. Schwarzkopf Color Mask is thick, rich and oh so easy to apply. Simply throw the Colour Cream into the Developer jar and shake a few times. The Schwarzkopf Color Mask has a trio of goodness with an amino-active protein which reinforces the hairs fibre, the developer cream contains a compatibility booster to create resilience and tangible smoothness and the hair mask is enriched with a vitamin oil complex. I received a Schwarzkopf Color Mask in Pearl Blonde to test out. I am rather late with this review and have since purchased another box. Yes, that means I have only positive things to say about this product. The formula is indulgently thick and won’t run one bit. I keep it on for 30 minutes but that will vary depending on whether you are touching up your roots or redoing your entire look. Pearl Blonde has that wonderful expensive salon look to it. No yellow what so ever. The only warning I will give is to not freak out when you first put it on as the formula is an intense blue to counteract any brassiness. The blue will wash off with the mask though. Afterwards my hair felt shinier, smoother and more nourished. Schwarzkopf Color Mask is exclusive to Clicks and retails for R129,99.
