Eucerin sent me some of their new products to try out. I’ve been testing them out over the past three weeks and already one of them has managed to land a spot on my Skin Series; Best Products feature. The Eucerin Sun Gel-Creme Oil Control is a total winner in my eyes especially for those with oily skin. Since first using it, I have yet to go a day without applying it which is pretty impressive as I admittedly all too often skimp on my sun protection as far too many leave my skin feeling oily and uncomfortable but not this one. It applies like a cream but quickly absorbs with no sticky residue or white marks. It’s a dream to apply under ones foundation and offers a very high UVB and UVA protection. It is also suitable for those with sensitive and acne prone skin and is perfume-free. The Eucerin Sun Gel-Creme Oil Control Dry Touch Face SPF50+ retails for R179,99 for 50ml.

Eucerin Anti-Redness Concealing Day Cream is the answer for those with hypersensitive skin types. It is slightly tinted and also contains an SPF 25 and no bad stuff. 0% parabens, alcohol, preservatives, paraffins or fragrances. The light green tint can be daunting when first applied but once gently rubbed into the skin it balances out skin tones and masks any red areas. The formula contains two key active ingredients: SymSitive which acts as a sensitivity regulator and calms the skin and Liquorice Extract which soothes ones skin. The other plus to this concealing day cream is that it works wonderfully under makeup as a base to even out ones skin tone. Eucerin AntiRedness Concealing Day Care SPF25 retails for R229,99 for 50ml.

Next up we have the newly formulated Eucerin AquaPorin Active range which comes in two types- one for All Skin types and one for Dry Skin both of which retail for R189,99. These are excellent for dehydrated sensitvie skin and help to provide long-lasting hydration for supple and smooth skin. I’ve been using the one for All Skin Types which is a lighter formulation that still offers immense hydration and moisture to ones skin. It is fragrance-free and contains SPF 25 UVB + UVA protection. AquaPorin Active contains nature-identical Gluco Glycerol which supports the skin’s own moisture distribution channels, the Aquaporins.
