Maybelline Blush

These beauties are Maybelline Face Studio Blushes (R99.95). I received four shades to try out two of which I’ve been wearing daily for the past few months. A blush is a difficult thing to swatch however as it shouldn’t actually be extremely visible in photos and once applied to the skin. Instead it should naturally create a light subtle flush and blend into your skin tone.

Above we have the shades: 80 Dare To Pink which is an intense pink shade and works wonderfully on darker skin tones and 60 Cosmopolitan is the perfect light peach but shows up as more pink in photos.

Above we have: My fair skinned favourite 70 Rose Madison which is lovely for day-to-day wear and 20 Brown which I expected to look quite streaky once applied but actually gives a nice subtle contour effect.

These master blushes offer high intensity statement shades but thanks to a super fine texture they apply flawlessly onto the skin. One soft sweep is enough to add impact without looking over-done or too made-up.
