Myself alongside a bunch of fellow very lucky beauty bloggers and media were treated to an utterly fabulous spa day at The Cape Royale hotel recently. We were so spoiled that I barely even know where to begin. It was a day of pure relaxation starting with divine Nitida bubbly on the hotel roof at their newly renovated Sky Bar. The view from up there is so incredible and I instantly regretted leaving my camera in the spa locker, but I did manage to snap a few pics with my phone.
The Equinox spa itself is one of my favourite spa’s in Cape Town as the minute you step foot into the spa you instantly feel calmer and relaxed and they also give the best back massages!
Once robed we were led down to a private outdoor section. The snacks available were all so delicious and I couldn’t help but over indulge just a little bit.
The Tea Merchants had a colourful collection of teas for us to try…I was besotted with one called “Falling in Love” it tasted so fresh and fruity and I would love to make it into an iced tea for summer.
Massages, Manicures, pedicures, facials and leg lightening treatments were all on offer. I started off with a OPI manicure in a gorgeous orangey red called Cajun Shrimp. Sorry about the super brightness of this shot as stated these were shot with my Samsung Galaxy and it was so bright up there. The view whilst sitting having my nails done was truly spectacular though.
Equinox Spa only stock the best-of-the-best and the brands they offer include Babor, Nimue, OPI, Theravine, Mama Mio and TheraNaka. After all the spoilage of the day we were still given very exciting goodie bags and I am currently testing out a few Nimue products. Will pop a review up when I am done.
The day ended off with cocktails up at the Sky Bar and plenty of giggles.
A special thank you to Cape Royale, Equinox Spa and the beautiful ladies from Red Carpet Concepts for such a fabulous day!
