We all know my love for the Elizabeth Arden brand runs deep and with another incredible product launch there is no sign of that love waning. Elizabeth Arden released their Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment Boosting Cleanser last month (apologies I am still working through my holiday beauty backlog) which I have been using regularly since December.
Elizabeth Arden’s Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment Boosting Cleanser provides a multidimensional deep cleansing experience while helping to enhance the efficacy of the Prevage skincare regimen. Therefore whilst the skin can’t absorb any active ingredients from a cleanser it can be better prepped in order to make your overall skin products more affective. I really do like this concept as all to often a cleanser is overlooked as a vital part of ones beauty routine.
Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment Boosting Cleanser is a creamy, light-foaming formula and I like that it never feels stripping or harsh on my skin thanks to the Surfactant system which mildly cleanses dirt and impurities from the skin’s surface. The natural bamboo beads and a combination of active enzymes remove dead skin and promote cell renewal.
It also contains Detoxiquin (a mushroom extract) that works in tandem with Idebenone, the single most powerful antioxidant, to help protect the skin from environmental free radical damage.
After using this cleanser my skin felt softer and any oily parts were mattified without ever leaving my skin feeling tight or flushed.
Whether any products I used afterwards were better absorbed is difficult to say but compared to my other cleanser my skin has been feeling more balanced these past few weeks of use.
Prevage Anti-Aging Treatment Boosting Cleanser retails at R385 for 125ml, available at selected prestige retailers.
