I have always thought that any cream aimed at eliminating cellulite was a load of nonsense and the only improvement is a result of the massaging motion when applying it helping ever so slightly with lymph drainage and circulation. When info on Creme 689’s cellulite cream (R980) popped into my inbox I was actually intrigued. Here was a cream which focused on firming the skin’s structure thereby reducing the appearance of cellulite. This is especially beneficial in the beginning stages of cellulite.
Creme 689 Anti-Cellulite contains an innovative ingredient complex, CHacoll which promotes the formation of collagen and elastic fibers, which strengthens the skin’s structure and improves its elasticity and firmness. It also helps to strengthen the collagen fiber network and stimulate the skin’s own collagen synthesis.
Aside from the seemingly magical CHacoll complex, Creme 689 also contains 4 other ingredients which moisturise and help to reduce the appearance of cellulite…
-Soothing, regenerative Shea Butter which also helps to support the skin’s elasticity.
– Protective jojoba oil that has anti-inflammatory properties and helps to improve the skin’s appearance.
-Beeswax has wonderful calming and anti-inflammatory properties and is also lipid replenishing (so fantastic for winter).
-Vitamin C and E which supports collagen formation and aids in toning.
I have been using this cream morning and evening for 4 weeks now and can honestly say I am impressed. Let me start by saying I do not have severe cellulite and have only recently gotten some over the past year. Along with this I have noticed a decrease in skin firmness. They recommend using the Creme 689 for a period of 4 to 6 weeks in order to see a difference. I will continue using this and feel like the results are incredible enough to warrant keeping this in regular everyday routine even though R980 is pricey it really is worth it considering that this is the first anti-cellulite cream that has made a difference. It also doubles as an incredible moisturiser during winter and has kept the keratosis pilaris (those annoying little red dots) on my thighs to a minimum. For the past two weeks I have even been using it on my arms, where I have no cellulite, but I wanted to see if it improved the skin’s firmness there and it sure has!
