I picked up a bottle of The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensively Revitalising Oil a while back and forgot about it. During the move quite a number of my beauty products were misplaced and I thought I had given it away during a purge process prior to moving. Fortunately I re-discovered it still packed in it’s box and waiting to revive my skin. Since my face-mapping (Read about it here) I’ve been very conscious of only using rich oils on the drier parts of my combination skin.
The Body Shop Oils of Life Intensively Revitalising Oil (R290 for 30ml) is the perfect accompaniment to my nightly moisturizing process. I do like to use rich anti-ageing face creams and serums at night and have found that adding a drop or two of this to them is not only extending my more expensive creams but also helping with the overall condition of my skin. I use it only on my cheeks, neck and décolleté. The Revitalising Oil contains 3 precious seed oils from around the world, known for their revitalising and repairing properties on skin – Black Cumin seed oil from Egypt, Camellia seed oil from China and Rosehip seed oil from Chile – with a powerful blend of essential oils. Made from 99% oils of natural origin, this lightweight, quickly-absorbed formula effortlessly melts onto skin leaving a non-sticky, velvety-soft finish.
