I am busy in the process of re-designing my site and moving it to a self-hosted platform. I am trying to do everything myself and from scratch in order to apply my newly acquired web and coding skills.
I had the basic knowledge of HTML and CSS but now having to know SQL, FTP, and PHP as well as broadening my HTML skills has been a whole other ball game.
It is fascinating to me but really is like learning a whole new language and takes time to master. My reason for moving my site is to increase my SEO as blogger doesn’t provide much flexibility and as one’s site grows a bigger platform is needed. Hopefully, the new site will be up and running sometime this week.
