BABOR is one of my absolute favourite luxury anti-ageing skincare brands, as their products always deliver. They do come with quite a price tag though and at R1800 for the Dr BABOR Derma Cellular Ultimate A16 Booster concentrate I needed to see if it I could visibly see a big enough difference to justify spending that much. But like I said, BABOR always delivers.
This product is truly phenomenal and since using it (I took a 2 week break from any other serums and concentrates to get the most accurate results) I have received countless comments on how my skin is “glowing” and how flawless it looks. This is pretty impressive especially since I’ve been suffering from insomnia and my skin tends to look extremely dull when I haven’t been sleeping well.
Dr BABOR Derma Cellular Ultimate A16 Booster concentrate is an intensive active concentrate with high-dose Retinew A16. The Retinew works in a similar way to retinol in that it stimulates the skin’s renewal processes and refines its overall appearance. It also activates the fibroblasts which produce collagen and stimulates the keratinocytes that are responsible for epidermal regeneration which results in skin looking more revitalised and being renewed.
