The styles are very trendy and even though they may be aimed at a more youthful market there are items for everyone. The price range certainly isn’t bad and is similar to Zara but they do have many reasonably priced items too. On average tops R400, jackets R800, jeans R500 and handbags around R400.
The store is filled with bursts of bright shades with a little edgier feel then most items currently available in local stores. There were also many ironic statement tops, hipster knitwear and crop tops galore.
I loved the maroon skater dress on the right hand side.
The Topshop store is quite big and is divided in style sections, they also have a lovely array of jewellery and I had to restrain myself from grabbing it all!
Personally the only let down in the store was the shoe section, definitely not my type of shoes as creepers and flatforms will never take the place of the high heels in my wardrobe.
Topman look promising but in all honesty I was so overwhelmed with the womens section that I merely glanced over at what was on offer in the mens section.
Topshop also offers a few super cute sleepwear items including this animal print onesie…
They also had gorgeous handbags scattered around the store, I fell in love with this dusty pink one…
There were so many beautiful pieces and Topshop will be a staple in every Cape Town womens wardrobe from now on. I am really happy that so many amazing international stores have launched in SA. The one item I am kicking myself over was this jacket…
I spotted it on my first glance around the store but by the time I had done my second take around the store to pick some things out, all my sizes had been snapped up.
