I did NOT expect to be this obsessed with an eyeshadow palette, I tend to have my favourites and stick to them. Also, the other surprise was how gorgeous the shimmer shades are. I literally made a “woah” sound when I swatched “Sugar Coated”. Which is a stunning copper tone.
All of the shimmer shades are truly exquisite and very pigmented. There is a good ratio between shimmer and matte shades. You can totally play around with this palette with fun shades like an intense pink called Icepop and a naartjie orange shade called Lemonade Craze. There are a number of wearable shades too and this is completely a “Summer” palette.
Maybelline’s Lemonade Craze Eyeshadow Palette is highly pigmented and for 12 shades that can be worn in multiple ways the price point of RRSP R269.95 is superb!
