The Arlésienne Collection is yet another entrancing scent from L’Occitane. Arles is a beautiful, captivating city in the south of France. It became renowned as a cultural and religious center during the late Roman Empire and is rich in both history and beauty.
Vincent van Gogh lived in Arles and produced over 300 paintings and drawings during his time there. The women of Arles are works of art themselves with their exquisite colourful dresses and captivating dances they are the inspiration for this scent and the story of the L’Occitane Arlésienne Collection.

Arlésienne is described as the “very embodiment of the women of Occitania. Free and mysterious, she is famed for her grace and radiant beauty.”

L'Occitane Arlesienne Review

I received the Eau De Toilette (R695 for 75ml) and immediately fell in love with the fragrance. It has such a strong yet still graceful rose nose with plenty of mystery and depth to it thanks to the soft mysterious violet and fiery saffron. I have yet to try a fragrance with such  prominent saffron head notes and am now enamored with it. This isn’t your typical rose heart scent, it is radiant and vibrant. The design was inspired by the twirling dresses of the Arliesienne women and the three ingredients in its colourful bouquet.

Included in the collection I also received the Arlésienne Shower Cream (R230 for 250ml) which is immensely luxurious. It leaves one’s skin delicately fragranced and is ideal for layering the scent as it does linger for quite some time.

I also carry the pretty hand cream (R120) everywhere I go, the ultimate hand cream is from L’Occitane. They are incredibly moisturizing and leaves ones hand feeling velvety soft. This also makes a great addition to any pressie as the design is so beautiful!

A Beauty milk (R370 for 250ml) and a Perfumed Soap (R60) form the last part of the permanent collection.

This really is such a stunning collection and I have my eye on a few of the Limited Edition products too which consists of a gorgeous Beautifying Powder (R530), Solid Perfume (R150) and a Lip Gloss (R170).

L’Occitane also have some incredible holiday gift sets on special. They have quite a few selections available and are all so prettily packaged making them the perfect Xmas pressie. I know I will be picking up the Peony Star Gift (R950) for my mum (I really hope that you aren’t reading this, if you are than sorry mum!) as well as the Secret To Beautiful Hands Star Gift set for a couple of my friends. If you are a Divine range fan then perhaps treat yourself or someone special to the Divine Star Gift (R2300) and save R500!
