- The Clarisonic has been on my wishlist for a very long time. I know that it came into South Africa late last year but I hadn’t really thought about planning to purchase it until recently. My skin has been getting congested fairly often especially on the forehead. I have heard so many great in fact fantastic things about this range and have been eyeing the Mia 2 (R2499) to help prevent further congestion and also increase radiance.
- Another item on my modest but expensive wishlist is the Dermalogica Daily Resurfacer (R850). I couldn’t believe what a difference this product made and after only a couple of uses. I received a few samples to try out and twice it has completely cleared my forehead congestion obviously the above product would be a better more affordable long-term option but this stuff is magic either way and I’d love to have a stash in my cupboard for when any problem areas on my skin appear.
- The next two items on my wishlist have a very special cause linked to them. I have a GHD straightener which I love and as it is very old I am afraid that it may be nearing it’s end. It doesn’t heat up as much as it used to. I have been meaning to purchase a new one but as I have one already nothing really prompted me to look for deals or look at special editions until I spotted this year’s Pink Edition. This season’s edition has had a vintage makeover and has a gorgeous retro matte powder finish with metallic pale pink accents. Over the past 12 years, GHD South Africa has raised over R1 million to help the fight against breast cancer. By simply purchasing a Pink Edition styler and in this year’s case the limited edition paddle brush, PinkDrive will receive a percentage of sales. PinkDrive provides free womens’ health services to disadvantaged communities by way of mobile Mammography and Gynaecology units. For more information at www.ghdhair.com/za/ or 0860109366.
