I love exploring my own city and was fortunate enough to stay at the gorgeous boutique hotel Welgelegen in Cape Town.
I went for supper at the divine Societi Bistro and tried a few dishes off their new tour through France menu. The pumpkin risotto from their winter menu is utterly scrumptious!
The weather has been so stunning and warm it really feels like Spring is in the air. I headed down to the promenade for some fresh early morning sea air.
I have an intense fear of birds but there was this guy feeding the seagulls and they were chilling on him and on top of his head, thought it was pretty cool.
I then headed to Green Point Park, the ecological park next to the stadium.
I think it is so awesome that they have all these little paths to the different sections where you can learn about Biodiversity and how the Cape Town area has changed. It is really beautiful and a great way for kids to learn.
Then ended my weekend off with plenty of shopping…Aldo, Forever New, Mango and YDE. Will show all the goodies that I got soon in another post.
