On Wednesday evening I was fortunate enough to attend the launch of the first Tommy Hilfiger store in Cape Town. Located in the luxury area of the V&A Waterfront it fits in perfectly. Clean cuts, nautical themes and the classic American colours fill the store.

I am very drawn to Tommy Hilfiger’s classic approach, they manage to keep up to date with trends whilst never losing that classy stylish appeal. Such as using their monogram logo on belts and bags but keeping it small and neat. They also have the first ever sneaker wedges that I actually like which is impressive.
Price wise you are looking at around R1000-R2000 for most items in store which is certainly not bad at all considering it is designer quality.
They also stock super cute underwear…comfortable and classic.
There was a subtle nautical theme throughout the store.
The store was packed with the whose-who of Cape Town and a few select celebs were styled by Tommy Hilfiger including Liezel van der Westhuizen, Tracey Lange, Janez Vermeiren and Jen Su. Other celebs in attendance were actress Vanessa Haywood, model Tanya van Graan, Cindy Nell, who is also former Miss South Africa. Athletes included soccer player Ryan Botha, former Rugby World Cup player Percy Montgomery, surfer Roxy Louw and cricket player Hershelle Gibbs.

Attendees were gifted with a beautiful beach throw and we could have our initials embroidered onto it..
I am so in love with the sunglasses we were gifted and cannot wait to wear them in an outfit post. A special thanks to everyone at The Little Black Book PR for such a fabulous event.
