This weekend I attended the Stellenbosch Fine Wines Event held at the beautiful Lanzerac wine farm. The weather played along perfectly, the sunny warmth was ideal to fully appreciate the setting.

I hadn’t heard all that much about this event, but after attending I must say it was without a doubt one of the better wine events I have attended (and I try to go to all of them!). The setting is gorgeous, think old buildings, mountains, sprawling green lawns and plenty of seats. There is delicious food and desserts available, I had the best red velvet cupcake I have EVER tasted! And the wine…all award winning and all divine! You never seem to run out of tasting coupons so feel free to explore and chat to each table.
There were so many wonderful wines but Uva Mira Chardonnay, Lanzerac Sauvignon Blanc and Idiom’s Viognier were my favourites!

I noticed that ring first off, before the close up shot of it. It’s awesome! And it totally compliments your outfit! Ooh, I would so LOVE to do a winetasting! Haven’t done one. That’s on my to do list.
