It’s all about those brows, especially with the Maybelline BrowDrama range! Or at least that is the way it feels when it comes to beauty trends at the moment. I have never been blessed with bushy brows. Meaning they haven’t ever been over-plucked. Therefore for many years, they’ve always just been okay until the majorly thick brow trend began.

So Does Maybelline BrowDrama Do the Job?

As my eyebrows are half blonde this means that if I don’t regularly tint them or use mascara, then from afar, it looks as if someone buzzed half of them off. Charming hey? So any brow product that can give me some definition is always a blessing.

Maybelline BrowSatin (R109,95) is a brow pencil and powder and does an adequate job of filling in one’s brows. I like that there are a variety of shades- Dark Blonde, Medium Brown and Dark Brown. Personally, I find that while this is a good pencil but it doesn’t blow me away. I’ll stick to my Estee Lauder Automatic Brow pencil

The goodie that deserves an outstanding review…

What does deserve an outstanding review is the Maybelline BrowDrama Tinted Gel Mascara which retails for R99,95. It comes in three shades- Dark Blonde, Medium Brown and Dark Brown. The gel formula contains coloured pigments that aid in filling in one’s brows even more when used after a brow pencil.

It is also great for taming one’s brows. The detailed ball brush is perfect for contouring. This is completely clump-free. The best part is that it doesn’t create that hard or weird feeling that many other brow brushes I’ve tested often do once they have set.

The Maybelline BrowDrama collection is currently exclusive to Clicks stores.
