GIORGIO ARMANI Si EDT Review

In March GIORGIO ARMANI will be launching their latest edition of the incredible EDT Si. Firstly I must remark on how beautiful the bottle is, simplicity at it’s finest. The shape and the shade of pink is exceptionally chic and I have been keeping mine on my desk for extra inspiration. Don’t all beauty bloggers do that?

Perfumes were once just something to make you smell nice or to smell sexy but they have reached a new level of confidence and represent a different kind of power. Si’s fragrance evokes a strong sense of a woman who knows what she wants and accepts herself for all of her strengths as well as weaknesses but most of all she knows who she is and is happy.

While at first I picked up a lovely chic scent rather than a predominately “happy” one i.e when I think happiness I think of citrus and summer fragrances however a perfect Si moment for me happened the other day. After a long day at work I walked past a flower stand and picked out a bunch of soft pink roses simply because they made me feel happy. I walked to my car and the had them tucked closely to my body since I was carrying at least three other bags and that warm gentle scent of the flowers combined with this perfume which I was wearing on my wrist made me inexplicably happy and content, to me that it what this scent inspires.

The opening top notes of Si are bergamot, orange blossom water, pear and blackcurrant with a heart of freesia and rose and the deep base notes are patchouli, musk and amber. It is an uplifting, fresh fragrance which I absolutely adore.

The third edition of Si will be launching in store in March, so do keep an eye out for it! The 50ml retails for R995 while the 100ml will retail at R1395.
