The new Clarins limited edition summer make-up collection 2017 is here and it is stunning! Inspired by a “summer in the tropics” the Sunkissed collection instantly creates a bright, sunny orange and the shades add warmth and luminosity.

To say I’m obsessed with the Bronzing and Blush compact (R560) is an understatement. It is gorgeous and the perfect product to create a warm radiant glow and a subtle blush. It combines three matte shades and an iridescent coral blush shade. It also has soft focus pigments combined with pearls to visibly minimize imperfections.

The Bronzing and Blush compact also contains the Clarins anti-pollution complex which helps to defend the skin against the harmful effects of pollution and free radicals which are responsible for premature aging and loss of radiance.

There are two Waterproof Eye Pencils (R280) in the collection- Copper and Gold. I received the colour Copper to try out and really it is one of the best eye pencils I’ve used. It glides on, feels so comfortable and doesn’t smudge or rub off. I also like the fact that it is waterproof so you can have plenty of summer fun and still have smouldering sexy eyes.

As you can see from the swatch the colour is intense and radiant.

The 4-Colour Eyeshadow palette (R525) contains four shades- beige, gold, orange and brown. The shades aren’t super pigmented as you can see in the swatches below. So if you are after intense colours then this isn’t for you. But for a subtle, soft summery look they work well. I tend to like neutrals and the orange in here whilst vibrant is still very soft. The eyeshadows are 100% mineral plant-based pigments.

The range will be available at Clarins counters and online from the 16th October.
