This time last year, my sister who has been living in the UK for the past 10 years visited us in Cape Town. Together we decided to abseil Table Mountain, which is the highest commercial abseil in the world. Now I am not an outdoorsy type of girl nor am I sporty. I have never set foot in a gym and prefer to stay fit through yoga. So this was both exhilarating and nerve wracking.

Table Mountain was recently named one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature and I couldn’t be happier with that outcome.
Now the same campaign is launching the New 7 Wonders Cities, currently you can nominate your city until the 31 December. I definitely think Cape Town should be one of them!
