Maybelline Strobe Sticks Review

Everything Beauty, Makeup Reviews, Reviews By May 11, 2017

I recently received an awesome press drop containing all of Maybelline’s latest launches. As I excitedly worked my way through the pack selecting which products I was most looking forward to trialling first these Strobe Sticks at first hovered around the middle mark. I’m fond of highlighters but tend to prefer subtle powders over daunting sticks. That was until one day I decided that I needed a bit of a pick-me-up and a bright lipstick wasn’t doing the job. Perhaps a bit of highlight might lift my look…and boy did it! I’m obsessed with these little sticks!

Maybelline’s new Master Strobing Sticks (R159,95, Dis-Chem) are available in three shades:
100 Light- Iridescent which is my absolute fav and the one I’ve been reaching for the most
200 Medium- Nude Glow offers a gorgeous bronze effect
300 Dark- Master is slightly more copper and will work well on tanned skin tones

At R160 they are very reasonably priced as you really only need a small bit and the transfer is excellent. I use my ring finger to gently tap off colour and tap onto my cheekbones and brow bone for a beautiful highlight.
