John Frieda Luxurious Volume Range review

Everything Beauty, Haircare, Reviews By Feb 20, 2015

Whenever I am travelling for a weekend away I always pack the following trio from John Frieda‘s Luxurious Volume range. I try to ensure that my hair lasts the full weekend as no one wants to spends hours washing and styling their hair whilst enjoying a relaxing weekend somewhere nice. However, we all want a good hair day every single day which leads me to the volume range which provides that extra lift when you need it most.

The Luxurious Volume Root Booster Blow Dry Lotion (R95) I use just after I have washed my hair to give my locks a lovely lift. This is best applied at the roots and I tend to spray it on with my hair flipped over and then shake my fingers through to give a nice even effect.

Another must-pack would be the Luxurious Volume Anytime Volume Refresher (R100) which is essentially a dry shampoo and helps to give ones hair a freshly cleaned appearance. It doesn’t leave any residue and applies evenly, just remember to brush it through to ensure even coverage.

The Luxurious Volume Volume Building Mousse (R100) is ideal to run through ones hair after a swim, it helps to sleek frizz down as well as provide a lovely natural volume. A small pump is sufficient for medium to long hair, however for events I tend to apply more to my hair . Remember you don’t want to go for a high maintenance look so natural bounce is much better. I also advise against using it on your roots. Rather apply from mid-lengths down to the ends.

Another carefree and chic option is to apply Volume Building mousse throughout ones hair and then use stylish headscarf to cover ones roots. What are your must-pack hair-care travel products?

There is also a shampoo and conditioner in the John Frieda Luxurious Volume range which I have previously reviewed over here.
